iwanna ask you a question that is going to lahore my habitual action or repeated action ? i think going to lahore every month or so, taking my brother from school, going to take classes regularly ae not my habits (adat) wouldn't it be better if we called them repeated action?
Habits are routines of behavior that are repeated regularly, tend to occur subconsciously, without directly thinking consciously about them.
You may call I go to Lahore every month a repeated action but What will you call (I eat dinner at 7 everyday.) It is a habit because you do it subconsciously and has become a part of your lifestyle. Another thing which we must notice that a repeated action may not last long, but a habit lasts long.
I would say that if something becomes a permanent practice subconsciously, is a habit.
If something is not our habit and is only a repeated action, I think it may not last long.
If I say I go to Lahore every month , it may be taken as a repeated action showing that it will not last long and if it becomes a part of my lifestyle and I subconsciously do this action, I think then it will become a habit.
